Whizzo The Clown

I lived near Kansas City from 1957, when I was 3 until 1967. I watched both Whizzo The Clown and Torey Southwick and His Old Pal Gus for many of those years and thoroughly enjoyed both.

I got to see Whizzo, for a couple of minutes, when he appeared at Whiteman A.F.B. in 1967. I would have seen the whole show, but, he'd gotten there late and my Mom's groceries would've unthawed if I'd stayed any longer so I had to leave.

I got to catch a glimpse of Torey Southwick at a shopping Mall in Sedalia, but, my father was in a hurry and didn't let me stay for the show, that was in 1965.

Information on these shows was very hard to find, for me anyway, even with the internet, until just the last few months.

In that same vein I've been unable to track down any info on a kids show which featured a talking horse puppet called Charlie Horse (and no it's not the one Sheri Lewis had). I think it was on from 1967 to 1970 in either Missouri , Arizona, or Colorado, that's as specific as I can get.
