Americana historian and frequent contributor to this website Rob Delius has provided a glimpse at one of the "lost Sandy's". "Lost Sandy's" are those which for some reason are not listed on the 1968 Sandy's locations list nor are they located on the 1973 final Sandy's list. This Sandy's was located in Little Rock, Arkansas. The property sat at an entranceway to a shopping center. The owners of the shopping center needed this property for expansion, made an offer that was accepted and Little Rock Sandy's was gone forever until today thanks to Rob Delius! Little Rock Sandy's so far is the first and only location known to sell a BBQ sandwich!
